Jo Chapman is a visual artist who works mainly within the public domain on diverse projects that range from public commissions to residencies, collaborative projects, temporary installations and exhibitons.

Recently Jo has undertaken public commissions for both external and internal sites, previously to that her work was often ephemeral and temporary. The common denominator in her work is a relevance to the site either physically or contextually and the use of imagery that is inspired by the effects of time and abadonment, discovering beauty in the ordinary and exploring our relationship to the landscape.
