The design and build of a barn conversion garden outside Cambridge. The existing concrete courtyard was removed and a limestone gravel garden with raised steel edge planters and granite strip paving was created. The beds were planted with mediterranean plants and a mature magnolia was planted in the larger steel drum planter. New perennial and evergreen borders were created around a new sandstone patio to the lawn side of the garden. Finally a 2m high rusted steel wall forms a backdrop to the courtyard and lawn gardens.
