about our work

onebeech garden design is a small flexible, dedicated team led by designer steve papps; BA hons design, diploma design, RHS certificate in horticulture. We undertake design and build projects from intial concept schemes to final implementation.

Having worked part time as a gardner since the age of 15 Steve graduated with a degree in design in 1989, and worked in the design industry as a freelance designer for various design companies on the design of shops, department stores, domestic and commercial spaces in the U.K. Ireland, Germany, Holland and Hong Kong.

On moving to Norfolk in 1999 he continued as a freelance designer whilst shifting focus towards garden design and practical horticulture before dedicating himself full time to onebeech garden design. Steve also lectures part time in garden design.
